Alex Lofland
RCL Class IV Associate
I was certain about three things as a kid growing up in Wichita, Kan. First, I wanted to teach. Second, I wanted to be creative. And lastly, I wanted to help the people around me. As a young adult, I fulfilled this calling by teaching and performing music. After college, I entered the workforce and narrowed my focus to helping others through service.
After relocating to Russell, Kan., I was fortunate to accept a job at UMB Bank in 2013. This was a foundational step that allowed me to serve the people of my community.
As a financial advisor at Edward Jones, I have been able to focus that service even further. Providing financial education and creatively solving financial problems aligns me with my purpose of helping the people around me. I am privileged to serve my community in this way.
I spend my time with my family in many different ways. We stay busy with youth sports, Boy Scouts, gymnastics meets and church events. My family and I are members of St. John Lutheran Church in Russell. I have been a member of the Russell Rotary Club since 2012 and am an associate of Russell County Leadership.
I find my ideal client at many different stages of life. They may be starting their first job, changing jobs, starting a family, planning for college, planning for retirement, grieving a loved one, starting a business or rebuilding their life. All life events have a financial impact. Working with a financial advisor can help you navigate the events of your life.
I plan to focus on learning what is important to my clients, working through Edward Jones' established process and building a personalized strategy that grows and changes as life moves forward. I plan to partner with my clients through life and help them realize their dreams.
